Dental Staff

Dr. Tran Dang, frequently goes friendly by Tran, has dedicated to the residents in Tacoma since 2005, started her own business in 2006, and continues to serve thousands of patients in Tacoma and surrounding Tacoma areas until presence. She first migrated to Tacoma, WA, in 1993 from Vietnam, and by that time, went to see her dentist with extreme tooth pain. Ever since she pursues her dream to be a dentist, so she could solve the dental issues for her patients and helps them prevent dental disease. Her dream came true in 2005 when she graduated with honor in Boston University Henry M. Goldman Dental of Medicine, Massachusetts.

Dr. Alice Ko has been with the practice since 2015. She is known for her kind and gentle approach to dentistry, and her favorite pastimes are reading, knitting, and craftwork.

An is a dental hygienist who has been with the practice since 2012. He is extremely proficient in teeth cleanings and loves to educate patients about their health and cleaning of their teeth and gums. He is married with two kids and enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Lan-Anh, goes by Lan, has been a dental assistant and dedicated to Tran N. Dang, DMD, PS since our dental office was first open in 2006. Lan is always kind and gentle with our patients. Lan does multi-tasks such as assisting dental treatments, taking appointments, checking patients in and out. Besides her work, Lan enjoys cooking ethnic foods for her happy husband and two
cute daughters.

Phuong is a new dental assistant just joins in our dental team since 2018. Phuong has an ability to handle fast-paced work environment. The goal of Phuong is saving the patients’ time making patients wait in no time. Phuong enjoys working on weekdays and Saturday because she believes Saturday is the only day that some patients could come to see their dentist.

Sovanna is a receptionist who has been with Tran N. Dang, DMD, PS since 2015. Sovanna speaks fluently English, Cambodian, and understands a little bit of Vietnamese language. Sovanna enjoys talking on the phone with patients and booking appointments for them. Besides her work, Sovanna enjoys outdoor activities and explores the mind-body-nature connection in our
Evergreen State.

Sar is a dental assistant with Tran N. Dang, DMD, PS since 2009. Sar speaks English and Cambodian. Sar is a very quiet person, but many of our patients feel very comfortable around Sar because she has a lot of sympathy and understands their situations with dental issues. Besides her work, Sar likes to spend time with her family and church activities.

Yessie is a dental assistant who has been with Tran N. Dang, DMD, PS since 2015. Yessie speaks fluently both English and Spanish. She always strives to make patients feel comfortable and relieve worrisome and stress on and off the dental chairs. Especially with children, child patients feel like she is a friend of theirs, or sometimes they feel like they are in the arms of
their mom. Yessie has received multiple positive feedbacks, cards, notes, and other
appreciation from our patients towards her positive attitudes. Besides her work, Yessie enjoys
spending time with her cute daughter and three handsome boys.
